The Dodge you are presenting is not the American Dart, it´s the spanish version manufactured under american license in Villaverde (Madrid) by Barreiros. Seeing it´s front light, grill, and the rest of ornaments it´s a GL version. It wears the Guardia Civil livery (a spanish police corp with national autorithy, specially in traffic). Although Guardia Civil used the Dodge Dart Barreiros, it´s incorrect the version, as they usually drove the standard with rectangular front lights and less chrome ornaments. One more info: this concrete car, the 1965 Dodge Dart Barreiros GL, was equipped with a in line 6 engine of 3.7 litres and 160 bhp. The Guardia Civil Dodge Dart Barreiro used to wear a Barreiros 4 cylinder 2.0 liters diesel engine.

You can find more info about the spanish Dodge Dart in my blog http://kekomovil.blogspot.com.es/2015/03/dodge-dart-270-gl-barreiros-de-altaya.html

RegardsKekohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15850627514017977551noreply@blogger.com
